Rodent Exclusion Services
A Two-Visit Plan to Remove Rodents & Seal Entry Points
Rodent exclusion combines interior rodent control with customized sealing of the entry points allowing rodents into your home. Gannon Pest Control uses a two-visit service plan to identify active access points, address current activity, monitor progress, and complete exclusion work when conditions are appropriate.
The process begins with a comprehensive inspection and interior treatment, followed by a second visit approximately 2 to 4 weeks later. Waiting to seal active entry points gives technicians time to determine whether rodents are still using those openings.

Visit One Starts with a Full Inspection & Interior Treatment
The initial visit includes an interior and exterior inspection to identify rodent activity, potential entry points, and conditions that may be contributing to the problem.
Technicians look for evidence such as:
- Droppings, tracks & nesting. These signs can help identify areas where rodents have been active.
- Gnaw marks. Damage can indicate rodent activity around accessible materials or potential entry points.
- Utility penetrations & foundation gaps. Openings around wires, pipes, foundations, vents, and other building features can provide access.
- Roofline & garage openings. Exterior areas around rooflines and garage doors are also inspected for potential entry points.
- Harborage conditions. Food sources, vegetation contacting the home, and other conditions can contribute to rodent pressure.
Following the inspection, technicians place tamper-resistant bait stations in appropriate interior areas based on their findings.

Four-Month Warranty & Continued Rodent Protection
The rodent exclusion service includes a 4-month warranty beginning on the initial service date, with return service available when activity recurs at an entry point that was sealed as part of the original work.
The warranty does not cover damaged or removed exclusion materials, structural changes made after the work is completed, or new entry points that were not identified and sealed during the original service.
Homeowners who want continued protection after the exclusion service can also consider ongoing service options.
Year-Round Rodent Monitoring
Scheduled monitoring visits provide an ongoing way to check for new rodent activity and identify emerging access points after the initial exclusion work is complete.
Quarterly Bait Station Refills
Quarterly bait station service provides a lower-cost maintenance option for homeowners who want stations checked and refilled regularly without enrolling in the full monitoring plan.
